one’s own work, trusting the pricing system you are working with is paramount.
You will learn to break down each jewelry item into a comprehensive list of all the costs.
Learn a system to build estimates for anything from design sketches to assembling pre-
manufactured parts. Discover how using an Estimate Worksheet provides important
advantages. Estimate worksheets provide an excellent tool of understanding when
working with commissioned jewelry items.
Outline:
In this 3-hour seminar we will explore the different ways to establish “overhead” costs,
hourly rates, and per/gram costs for metals. Participants are encouraged to bring their
own pieces of jewelry to use with the estimation practice portion of the seminar.
